Mel hires trainers only after they have gone through his 6 month trainers course. They have at least one year of hands on training after they graduate.

Mel has 18 years of training experience and was certified in 2004. His primary focus is behavior problems from mild to severe. Mel also handles the stay and train cases for severe behavior problems. He also currently does work with 10 surrounding dog rescues to help prepare dogs for placement into new homes. Mel is the primary instructor for the dog trainers course.

Mike has 14 years of training experience since being certified. Mikes primary focus is obedience training and behavior modification. Mike also works with the surrounding rescues to fill their needs for training and rehabilitation.

Topaz began her training with Paramount years ago, first as a client in need, then as an assistant. then as a full time partner. Topaz handles our basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification and is the lead trainer of our puppy program. Topaz also handles therapy class and agility classes. A true asset that we our thrilled to have on our team.
